Meissa Ionis - Quadroscopia

Quadroscopia was an experiment in pure spontaneity—a challenge to create both an album and a new side project within just 3–4 hours. The result? A relentless, heavy, doom-laden drone record. Improvised in an hour, edited in another, and finalized with mastering, design, and track sequencing in the remaining two, Quadroscopia embodies raw, unfiltered sonic intensity.

Deeply influenced by the overwhelming force of Sunn O))), it strips away seriousness and embraces the chaotic, experimental noise pit of Amplidyne Effect. Whether as a parody of modern “pop stars” or an homage to industrial aesthetics, Quadroscopia drags you into its noise-drenched abyss for 49 relentless minutes—unless you tap out and close your browser or media player.

Distorted guitars, crushing bass, dense synths, and occasional rhythmic chaos form an impenetrable wall of sound. Not for the charts. Not for the faint-hearted. And certainly not for those allergic to sonic perplexity.
