On April 19, based on an idea by Rafael Sanchez, artistic director of the “PLANNED ACCIDENTS” festival, the exhibition “TRANSCENDENCE” opens at the KOTE gallery (Jongno, Seoul). It is the second part of an internationally significant event, featuring performances, exhibitions… with Transcultures and the Société i Matériel as partners.

On this occasion, within and in network with “TRANSCENDENCE”, a marathon artwork titled “24h-24 PARADISE”, organized by Société i Matériel and created by Marc Veyrat, will be broadcast on a large screen at KOTE and live-streamed on the web for 24 hours. This public event will also include performances, exhibitions, and conferences, bringing together both local and international artists.

The thriving South Korean capital continues to be a fertile ground for experimental talents and is always curious about other exploratory sensibilities. Thus, the screen set up at KOTE, which will live-stream the “24h-24 PARADISE” video feed from Europe, will connect a global artistic scene to Seoul through the “TRANSCENDENCE” project. This live stream further enriches the cultural and artistic exchange—one that has never ceased to exist—between participants from all continents, with Seoul becoming its epicenter.
